My Credit Reports
My credit is important to me. Good management of my credit can result in favorable lending terms and an improved lifestyle. That's why I regularly check my credit reports for both areas of improvement and for possible reporting errors. My credit report is a document that chronicles my credit history. Credit scores are calculated from my credit reports. When lenders and creditors view my credit report, they want to see a good history of credit management. This indicates credit worthiness.
There are three different types of credit reports that I should be aware of. They come from the three main credit reporting agencies in the country: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion. Each one is slightly different, so it's important that I check each of them.
